Next is the best approach to soldering  the turret tender top to the body. A couple of dry runs were undertaken to make sure everything fitted together nicely which it did to my amazement. Out came the soldering iron with Carrs 188 solder and I fitted and soldered the back first and then making sure the sides matched up ok tack soldered first and then ran a fillet along the seam and repeated the procedure to the other side. The body at this stage is still separate from the chassis. That concludes a bit more progress. Part four soon.

Hi Andrew. It’s a good kit to construct, just take your time with it and it’ll work out ok .The ladder is quite fine so be careful with it. I have one from Casula Hobbies and thought I would use it but I’ll see how it turns out regards.
