After several conversations with other modellers it was decided to obtain a signal mechanism with the characteristics of the prototype (with bounce). I tried on several occasions to get hold of the mechanism from Full Stop Signals ” The Bouncer” but after exhaustive attempts I gave up,shame because a few friends were interested. Adam Homer told me of another mechanism which I looked into,ordered 3 sets complete with servos, paid for them and they arrived in 6 days from the UK. The name of the company is GF Controls, gfcontrols.co.uk email gfcontrols@hotmail.co.uk, it’s worth a look on the internet,also the customer service was second to none.
The following photos are of the progress so far. Apart from the signal counterweights which are scratch built all the signal parts came from Casula Hobbies and are AM Models products. The ladder and jig are from Keiran Ryan Models. Still a way to go until they are finished and hopefully working.
