Here are a few passenger cars used on the layout by Stephen Johnson Models. They were built over a period in the late 1990’s.I believe that the kits are available through SJM via bogies and wheels need to be sourced from elsewhere I have used white metal kits of the 2AA bogies available from Ian Lindsay Models with Steam Era Models RP25 Code 88 spoked wheels on 23.8 axles. AR Kits also supply rtr 2AA bogies. The cars are all independent and are used on branch lines or to  bolster consists on main line trains.First photo is an HFL terminal car with guards compartment then an ACM composite sleeper followed by a CR composite R car after that is an FL second class sitting L car and finally a BL first class sitting car. 2AA bogies are now available from S.J.Models as a kit without wheels.

Hi Nick. After spraying an etch grey primer the tuscan and russet are Craftsman enamel and the roof is Humbrol matt 63 sand.A tip for you is the sand has few drops of Humbrol gloss just make a low sheen for a smoother finish you can always dull-cote it after with Testors. I thin the enamel paint with Diggers fast enamel thinners from Bunnings. The weathering is done with Flo-quill and pastel chalks as described in a previous post.I hope that helps you.Regards Peter
