Austrains CW wagons

On the weekend of the EMRC exhibition at Thornleigh I picked up a couple of Austrains CW/cattle wagons and when I arrived home I was most impressed with the level of detail .The wheels were of a quality not seen on a NSWGR wagon  before as they are rp25 code 88 eight spoke and scaled out correct in diameter and the bonus is they do not wobble.So well done Austrains in getting a very good wagon RTR. I have done a bit to the underfloor detail of the chassis and replaced the couplings with Kadee 58’s. Unscrew the floor and remove the gussets either side of the centre one, all they need now is weathering . As a footnote I thought the exhibition was  the best the EMRC has put on for a number of years. With new layouts Wyee, Galong/Boorowa, Bullenbung Creek and many others including the clinic by Jeff Knott.
