A new project of 2 Bergs LV vans has started and this is the progress so far. Using much the same procedure as the Bergs CV van. The roof will be substantially renforced as to avoid ‘roof sag’ and to stand up to handling. The same type of W irons from Ian Lindsay Kits have been used as well as axle boxes and springs cast in brass from Branchline Modeller Parts. 012 phosphor bronze wire is used for the end grab handles. Available from Casula Hobbies or Modelrailroad Craftsman Blacktown NSW. Again code 88 Steam Era wheels have been used. Part 2 soon…
