BERGS CV van in black

I have painted the van black ready for weathering .Etch black primer was used thinned down quite a bit to give a light even coverage and to avoid the orange peel effect and covering detail. The next process is weathering using floquil grime, mud and grimy black which again is thinned considerably when that’s done a coat of thinned testors dull coat is sprayed over the entire wagon. I use a Paacshe VL airbrush that I have had since 1988. Next will be the use of pastel chalks which are great for dust and dirt particals that accumulate in  the corners etc. As a footnote the etched W irons used are available from IAN LINDSAY MODELS again this time they are produced in nickel silver which are stronger than the previous brass ones.
